Dionysis Romas
Founder & Managing Director
As the Founder and MD of Black Oak Group, Dionysis leads the provision of Strategy & Consulting and Wealth Management Services for family Offices and both local and international Funds seeking investment opportunities in Greece and the broader Southeastern European region.
He commenced his career as an IM executive at Hellinmoto S.A in 2001. He later transitioned to Themis Construction Company in 2004, assuming the role of PM for Greek State Real Estate development projects. Building a solid foundation of experience in the corporate realm, in 2007, he played a pivotal role as the co-founder and investor of the Equity and Debt financial vehicle i2 Fund domiciled in Cyprus.
In 2009, Dionysis became the co-founder of Icon Fund, a successful mutual fund registered in the Cayman Islands, specializing in deep-value equity strategies within emerging markets. The fund operated until 2018, delivering robust double-digit GAGR to its investors. His expertise encompasses Portfolio Management, Hedge Funds, Strategy, Private Equity, Structured Finance, and Trading across diverse financial instruments.
He has forged enduring relationships with major investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, UBS, Barclays, CMB Monaco, and Bordier & Cie. Moreover, he has collaborated with Family Offices across Europe, Investment Funds, and International Law and Advisory firms in the U.K., Monaco, Switzerland, Cayman Islands, Ireland, Marshall Islands, and Cyprus, as well as with prominent banks and corporations in the EMEA region.
Based in Athens, Greece, Dionysis has cultivated a powerful network within the country’s corporate, banking, and political spheres. His is also a distinct member of Fortune Greece Network.
He graduated from University College of London (U.C.L.) with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering in 1998, and furthered his education at London Business School (L.B.S.), obtaining an M.Sc. in Information Management & Finance in 2000. Dionysis also holds certifications in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Columbia University, Private Equity and Venture Capital from Universita Bocconi, and Accounting Analytics from Wharton Business School, UPenn.

John, eligible to plead before the Greek Supreme Court, leads the firm’s disputes team. He serves on the Executive Committee and BoD of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and chairs its Legislative Reforms Committee. He is also a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC-Hellas), the International Bar Association, and the Hellenic Society of Criminal Law. Additionally, he handles litigation before the criminal courts and prosecuting authorities, represents clients in commercial and civil disputes and handles corporate clients’ white-collar crime cases involving internal audits and investigations. Fluent in Greek, English, and French. He developed KG’s gaming & betting practice, providing regulatory and compliance advice to gaming operators and B2B providers.
Bruce Davis

Bruce is the founder and Managing Director of InGlobo Private Equity in January 2008 and has four portfolio companies which included 8 mergers and acquisitions at the time. He has over 25 years of senior management experience in bluechip multinationals such as Coca-Cola, McDonalds and Ernst & Young throughout Australia, Asia and the USA. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) (2012- Current) and a board member of several not-for-profit and for-profit organisations, including Integrated Industrial. He also served as Chairman of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) Oceana (2018-2019), Global Director (2015-2018), Chairman Australia & NZ (2013-2015), and Chairman WA (2010-2011). He was also a winner of WA Business News 40 under 40 in its inaugural year in 2002. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Law and Accounting from Curtin University in 1990 and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Melbourne in 2003.
Christina Giovani

Christina has extensive experience in banking and financial advisory, holding senior roles in international financial institutions and expertise in public finance and administration. She began her career in 1994 with Interbank, later taking on responsible positions at AmEx Bank and ABN Amro Bank, focusing on financing, restructuring, and credit assessment. She gained public finance expertise as a financial advisor for the Municipality of Athens and the Ministry of Finance. As MD of DEPFA Bank and Managing Partner of KBR Corporate Finance GmbH, she established and expanded two international organizations in Greece. From 2019 to 2023 she served as executive Alternate Chair of the Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund. She is certified in Corporate Governance (IDP-C) from INSEAD.
She holds an MBA from New Hampshire College (1993), a BSc in Business Administration from the American College of Greece (1992), and a Graduate Certificate in Administration & Management from Harvard University’s Extension School (1994).
Olivier Bordier

Olivier began his corporate career in 2010 in Brazil, acting as Sales/Trader of Emerging Market Fixed Income at Galloway Capital, then moved in 2012 to the asset management sector of BRG Capital in São Paulo with a primary focus on emerging market fixed income.
In 2013, he joined UBS bank in Zurich, where he advised ultra-high-net-worth individuals on multi-asset investments using portfolio’s and opportunistic approach. He was later appointed desk head of the Latin American Active Advisory team.
In 2020, Olivier started collaborating with Bordier & Cie private bank in Switzerland, where he manages relationships with global high net worth individuals.
Moreover, Olivier is a Board member of Santa Teresa S.A., an agribusiness company in Argentina that specializes in cattle and crops.
He is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese and divides his time between Switzerland, Greece, and Argentina.
He holds a B.A. in Business Administration & Management after studying in Switzerland and Romania.
Mina Zoulovits

With over 23 years of experience in ICT, IT, and data privacy law, Mina specializes in Digital Transformation for private companies and the public sector, focusing on areas like AI, IoT, Cybersecurity, GDPR, and e-business law. Her clients range from global corporations to ambitious startups and public institutions. Mina advises on complex ICT systems, legal DD, M&A, financing projects, and daily digital law issues. She participates in European Commission expert committees, reviews Horizon 2020 and CEF Telecom projects, and she is an elected member of the Consulting Committee of the Greek E-Commerce Association, member of the Legal Reform Committee of the AMCHAM and has served as member of the BoD in private and public companies. She also teaches E-Commerce Law at the University of Lille’s Business Law Master’s Degree in Greece. Mina has been voted as “Leading Individual”, 2024, TMT, Greece according to “Legal 500”.
Kararizos Vassilis

Prior to 3 AXES, Mr Kararizos acted as management advisor to Ellaktor Group, senior analyst at Icon Fund, head of Proton Bank’s equity research department, head of IBG’s (Investment Bank of Greece) research department, and equity analyst at Eurobank Equities.

He was a non-executive Bord Member of Alpha Bank S.A. ‘s subsidiaries, Astakos Terminal Seaport S.A. and Alpha Bank Insurance Brokerage S.A. and member of the Bank’s Credit Committees. His expertise includes management, financial analysis, corporate lending, issuing corporate bonds in the ASE, treasury products, M&As, corporate credit, risk management, structured finance, restructuring loans, compliance and knowledge of EBA’s Regulatory Lending Framework. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics & Statistics from Surrey University (Guildford, UK) and an MSc (Hons) in Finance from Imperial College Business School (London, UK).
Stamatis Diavatidis

Kostas Papanikolaou

Kostas boasts over 25 years of extensive experience in leading construction projects across various sectors including multinational enterprises (MNEs), commercial, logistics, residential, and the hospitality industry. His expertise lies in Real Estate strategy and business development, specifically aimed at sustainable value creation. In 2017, he founded BlackHawk S.A. and has since provided consulting and project management services for major investment funds, large corporate entities, and real estate investment companies (REICs) such as Reuben Brothers, Cedar Capital, Pasha Group, Everty, Trastor and Prodea. His notable projects span multiple countries including Greece, Serbia, Germany, and Romania. Prior to this, Kostas served as the Executive Director and Technical Manager at Arxikon Construction S.A., and as a Project Manager at Vardinoyiannis Group. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, and an MBA from the University of Piraeus.
Andreas Matopoulos

Christos Mavrokefalos

Christos is a Managing Partner and founder of Fathom WMA since 2010. Christos started his career as a private banker working for various financial institutions across Europe, including BNP Paribas.
